After further negotiations, Tottenham Hotspur has revealed the only way Bayern Munich can sign their striker Harry Kane this summer.
On Monday, two executives from Bayern Munich met with Tottenham’s chairman, Daniel Levy, in London to continue talking about Kane’s transfer.
Tottenham hopes to receive £100 million to part ways with Kane, the club’s all-time leading goalscorer, after turning down two offers from Bayern Munich.
Bayern Munich are rumored to be willing to pay more than their previous transfer record of €80 million, which they set in 2019 when they signed Lucas Hernandez.
Spurs have reportedly warned the Bundesliga champions that they must improve their offer if they want to recruit the England captain this summer, despite the fact that following the last round of discussions, there is still about a £20m disparity between the two clubs’ appraisals of Kane.
Tottenham also wants a buy-back clause included, giving them first crack at re-signing Kane if he ever decides he wants to leave Bayern Munich.
After meeting with Bayern Munich on Monday, it is reported that Harry Kane, who has less than a year left on his contract with Tottenham, is eager to make the move.
