The NLC has threatened a strike if the cost of fuel is not reduced.

The Nigerian Labor Congress (NLC) has called for a statewide strike to protest President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration’s fuel price hike and other policies.

Mr. Ben Upah, a spokesperson for the NLC, verified this on Wednesday exclusively to DAILY POST.

The date he gave for the start of the nationwide strike in 2023 was August 2.

On August 2, 2023, a nationwide strike will officially begin. We’ll be releasing a statement to that effect shortly,” he said.
