Man United fans would be pleased with this remark on new signing Onana

Donny van de Beek, a Manchester United player, has weighed in on the club’s new goalkeeper, Andre Onana.

Man United and Inter Milan have finalised a £47 million deal for Onana this summer.

Onana landed at Manchester United’s training complex on Wednesday afternoon to finalize his transfer and is scheduled to join Erik ten Hag’s side for their pre-season tour of the United States.

When asked about Manchester United’s choice to recruit Onana from Inter, Van de Beek, who played with the Cameroonian international at Ajax, was cited by Metro UK as saying:

“He’s a fantastic goalkeeper.”

“I played with him for many years, he has a great personality, he is good with his feet and on the line, and my expectations for Andre are high.”

“He is also a great person; I still talk to him now and then, and he is a world-class goalie.”
