The 16th annual Headies Awards, Nigeria’s most prestigious music honor, have just released their first round of candidates.
On Tuesday, the finalists for “Rookie of the Year” were announced via the event’s official Twitter account.
“A voting category for the rookie of the year who has had a successful year musically, without an album in the year under review,” as described by the event’s organizers.
Odumodublvck, Guchi, Bayanni, Khaid, Bloody Civilian, and Elter Skillz are all up for the award.
