Chinedu Ani Emmanuel, also known as Nedu, is a well-known on-air personality in Nigeria. He recently discussed how claims that he is misogynistic caused him to lose a lucrative endorsement deal with a beverage company.
This was revealed by the broadcast journalist and television personality on the most recent episode of the audiovisual podcast The Honest Bunch, which he, Husband Material, and Deity Cole co-host.
Nedu, an actor and comedian, stated:
“Three weeks ago, I was about to sign an endorsement when I hesitated. I’m not in a foul mood. For a little moment, I didn’t feel horrible, but I snapped.
Why did I freak out? Because the myth that Nedu despises women was widely accepted. And it is a brand of beverages. If this is what people are saying, then our female consumer won’t like it, the brand declared.
The developer of the content further criticized those who, after accusing him of favoring women excessively in his skits, claimed that his podcast incited hatred for women.
