Terrorists are said to have killed two people and kidnapped over 30 others in communities in Kaduna State’s Birnin-Gwari Local Government Area.
According to a survivor, Mallam Isa, the communities hit were Shiwaka, Unguwan Bagudu, and Sabonlayi.
More corpses, according to Isa, would be discovered in the bushes if a comprehensive search was undertaken.
According to him, the people were attacked because they were unable to pay the levies placed on them by the bandits.
“They attacked on Monday, around 11:30 a.m., while most people were going to their farms,” he explained. It’s the charge imposed by the bandits’ deadline.”
He urged President Bola Tinubu’s administration to confront the scourge of banditry front on.
“Even if the levy is paid,” he bemoaned, “the bandits will never stop carrying out their attacks against innocent locals.”
