Rio Ferdinand Slams Manchester United For Selling Five Star Players

Rio Ferdinand, a former Manchester United defender, has blasted the club for selling five players.

According to Ferdinand, the Red Devils erred by releasing Jonny Evans, Javier Hernandez, and Danny Welbeck.

Evans was sold to West Brom for £6 million in 2015, while Hernandez joined Real Madrid on a season-long loan in 2014.

Louis van Gaal also enabled Welbeck to leave Old Trafford in 2014.

“One of the major mistakes they made was selling the Da Silva twins, Welbeck, Chicharito, and Jonny Evans all in a short period of time,” Ferdinand stated on Vibe With Five.

“They were Man United’s lifeblood; they all came through the system, all Man United boys, and that was also lost.”

“And they were dumping those players at will; I couldn’t believe the club allowed it.”
