The toughest defender Jamal Musiala, a midfielder for Bayern Munich, has ever faced was former Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos.
When Bayern Munich played Paris Saint-Germain in the UEFA Champions League Round of 16 this year, Musiala faced Ramos.
The match was won by the Bundesliga champions 3-0 overall after two legs.
Musiala, though, was pleased with Ramos’ performance and demeanor.
According to the German international and Bayern’s website:
“The manner Sergio Ramos defended caught me off guard a little bit.
“He tackled well and had great intuition.”
Ramos is frequently considered as one of history’s best defenders.
