As Buhari declares assets with the CCB, he claims that cattle numbers have decreased in four years.

In compliance with Chapter 6 of the constitution, former President Muhammadu Buhari has filed his asset declaration forms to the Code of Conduct Bureau, CCB.

Garba Shehu, Buhari’s Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, said this on Saturday.

Shehu further stated that the CCB supplied Buhari with an acknowledgement receipt.

Shehu revealed the contents of the declaration in a post on his verified Twitter profile, claiming that the number of animals in Buhari’s farm had decreased slightly due to the number he gave out as presents during the last four years.

He also stated that the former President’s movable assets did not rise and that he did not open new bank accounts other than the one he had at Union Bank in Kaduna.

“In accordance with Chapter 6 of the constitution, former President Muhammadu Buhari has submitted his assets declaration forms to the Code of Conduct Bureau, CCB.” The CCB provided an acknowledgement receipt today.

“The completed declaration shows that his movable assets did not increase, either at home or abroad, and that he did not open new bank accounts other than the one he had at Union Bank in Kaduna.” He has no debts and no liabilities.
