Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s presidential candidate for the 2023 election, claimed on Wednesday that the APC would have been more successful in advancing Nigeria if it had chosen Vice President Yemi Osinbajo as its candidate.

While greeting some attendees at Dele Momodu’s 63rd birthday celebration in London, Obi said this.

Additionally, it was claimed that Tinubu was unable to win the majority of the valid votes cast in the election, just as he was unable to win one-fourth of the valid votes cast in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory.

Obi also disputed the claim that the election was held in significant violation of the law.

The court has postponed the pre-hearing of Obi’s petition against Tinubu until Friday, May 19, 2023 after reconvening its session today.

The date was set by the court under Justice Haruna Tsammani after the petition’s parties, among other things, failed to reach an agreement on the petition’s supporting documents.
