Granit Xhaka, a midfielder for Arsenal, is expected to leave the team this summer.
Xhaka will return to the Bundesliga and join Bayer Leverkusen there.
The Swiss international joined the Gunners from Borussia Monchengladbach, where he had previously played.
He is about to agree to a four-year deal with Leverkusen.
“Granit Xhaka is expected to depart Arsenal at the end of the current campaign. No talks about a new agreement, and separation is scheduled for June.
“Bayer Leverkusen and him are in advanced negotiations for a €15 million fee.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano tweeted on Tuesday, “Understand personal terms are almost agreed over four year deal — June 2027.”
