A multiple-road crash in Ogun State on Monday morning claimed the lives of 43 people and nine vehicles.
According to the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), the accident occurred on the Lagos-Ibadan highway’s Magboro axis.
Following brake failure, a truck was said to have rammed into other vehicles on the road.
Florence Okpe, an FRSC spokesperson in Ogun, confirmed to DAILY POST that the accident involved nine vehicles.
According to our correspondent, the majority of the vehicles were severely damaged as a result of the crash.
Okpe confirmed that four people were hurt in the accident, which caused a traffic jam on the axis. She, on the other hand, assured that “no life was lost.” in the incident.”
