Biliya Lawal, 18, died after being punched in the stomach during a fight with his 14-year-old neighbor, simply identified as Danladi.
The two were said to have had a heated argument at their compound in Gadabiu, Kwali Area Council, Federal Capital Territory, which resulted in a physical fight.
According to reports, the incident, which occurred around 6 p.m. on Friday, has become the talk of the town.
A commercial driver in the area named Aliyu said the reason for the exchange of words and subsequent punches was unknown.
He stated that Lawal was rushed to the Kwali General Hospital immediately after collapsing.

When contacted, Josephine, the FCT command’s spokesperson, Adeh, confirmed the incident, adding that Danladi had been arrested.
