The tour of the Presidential Villa in Abuja with first lady Aisha Buhari on Tuesday was overwhelming, according to incoming first lady Remi Tinubu.
According to Information Nigeria, Aisha Buhari showed her successor some strategic areas of the first family’s official residence, the Aso Rock Villa.
The first lady explained that the Glass House in the Villa is the first family’s transitional home.
President Muhammadu Buhari and his wife, Aisha, are currently residing in the Glass House, preparing to leave office.
Mrs. Buhari said in an Instagram video that she was overwhelmed by everything she had heard and prayed that God would help her.

Aisha mentioned that she had taken the incoming first lady, Senator Remi Tinubu, on the tour.
“She has seen the main house, and we are now at the popular Glass House,” Aisha explained. The Glass House serves as the outgoing president’s temporary residence.
“I recommend that the Glass House continue its tradition of serving as a transitional office for the outgoing president.” I am currently residing here with my husband as I speak to you. There are only two of us here, and I believe this should be the norm for the institution and the house.”
However, Remi Tinubu stated to journalists, “I have gone around.” She graciously showed me around the house. And graciously explained a great deal of things to me which is quite a short time and overwhelming for me to grasp.
“But, I believe God will help me to be able to make an impactful contribution to the nation.”
