Rema and Fireboy DML, two fast-rising worldwide talents from Nigeria who are also new-age Afrobeats ambassadors, as well as Grammy-winning megastar Burna Boy have all received nominations for the France’s NRJ Music Awards.
The awarding society, formally known as Nouvelle Radio des Jeunes, is known as the highest in France and is presented by the French radio station NRJ to recognize the best in the French and international music industries.
Rema has received three nominations from the society in support of his debut album, “Rave and Roses,” including Best International Collaboration for his Selena Gomez-featuring “Calm Down Remix,” International Revelation Artiste, and International Song of the Year for “Calm Down.”
Similar to this, Burna Boy received a nomination for Best International Collaboration.
