According to reports, the kidnappers opened fire on Command operatives who stormed the den.
One of the kidnappers was killed in the crossfire.
Three victims were rescued as a result of the incident.
According to SP Benjamin Hudenyin, a spokesman for the Command, arms and ammunition were recovered at the scene.
He went on to say that the victims were being treated at an unnamed hospital.
